I'm so grateful to my Dad who introduced me to this book. Knowledge is vital to healthy debate and discussion and I have been given an absolute gem of clear, concise and honestly unbiased facts with which to greater understand both Islam and Christianity. There are far too many ignorant conversations happening on the subject of religion in the west. Our opinions must only be formed after immersing ourselves in true understanding and this book is a fabulous start. I am so grateful to Dr Gabriel for his life and his work and for risking so much to be able to write this book.
I wanted to find out more about the leader of the 2nd largest religion in the world. I could not obtain any facts about him doing a Google search, just rhetoric. I wanted to find out more about him from someone who really had researched him and was going to tell the truth. I found this book and this man's story very enlightening. I am a Christian and I have many friends and co-workers who are Muslim. So please take that in consideration but, I am glad I read the book and encourage others who want to understand the differences between these two religious leaders than this book if for you and will educate you on the differences between.
This was a great book for obtaining a better understanding of the difference between Islam and Christianity. Since Mark Gabriel knows both of them from the inside and even reads the Koran as you're supposed to (proper language), his interpretation is true to what Islam is teaching today and this book gives a great glimpse into their mindset.Great read for Christians wanting to know more about Islam, and for Muslims that may want better insight into the Koran because most don't have the opportunity to read and understand it for themselves because of the language barrier.If you are wondering which religion is best for you, I encourage you to read this book before you make a decision because it will give you great truthful insight into both of them.
I'm originally from the Middle East, and I’m a born again Christian. I’ve purchased a couple, and downloaded it to my Kindle.Although this book is not an Apologetic book, but it is a great tool to have to get an idea on Islam. It is also good for those who are seeking between Christianity & Islam.The writer is not a biased to either Faiths in his writings, he declares the facts, and at the end he provides who he decided to follow.The writer’s testimony is a wonderful one as well.Must read.
This book gave me goosebumps. I have many Muslim Egyptian friends and have never been able to explain clearly why they should follow Jesus. Most are very rigid in their Islamic beliefs because they have never known or experienced the love of Jesus. After reading this book, over and over, now I have a source of explanation and can speak about it intelligently to my lovely Muslim friends. I highly recommend this book if you want to know more about Jesus and Muhammad and their lives and characters. Thank you Mr. Gabriel. This book is easy to read and understand and your explanations and definitions are so very clear and simply understood.
Well written, feels authentic and gives a chill to realize that there is not much of a big difference between moderate Islam and radical extremist Islam. This almost feels like jihad is nothing more than an intellectual cover for the love of violence.
This was very informative regarding the differences and similarities between Jesus and Muhammad. It should be required reading for all Christians.
