Online classes are the best, as specially when you can get your books at a fraction of the price you pay at the college book store! This book was new in plastic and exactly like every other students book. It worked out great, and Amazon bought it back when the class was done. Doesn't get much better.

Worst textbook in all of my undergraduate studies. Authors assert that Jean Piaget is a value theorist but the truth is Jean Piaget is a cognitive theorist in child development. They apply his cognitive theory to value theory, which is more indicative of Lawrence Kohlberg and they fail to mention Gilligan. The book is riddled with misinformation. Authors assert that Doctors of Osteopathy are focused on the musculoskeletal system, this would be the chiropractor not the D.O. In fact the D.O. was a medical reform movement because treatments killed people more than the cause and so the founder A.T. Still establishes the four tenets of osteopathy, which does not focus on musculoskeletal system. This is a health care law textbook but they fail to mention how healthcare professionals are licensed, they only focus on physician licensing, nothing about PA, nurses or dieticians. This should be renamed a medical law book. I have had a medical ethics class and this textbook mentions ethics that I have never even heard of as a healthcare profession. The authors also assert that medical schools require a four year degree while many do not. The reader will have to unlearn their incorrect facts and misinformation to later learn it the correct way.

I used this book for an online course. It was cheap, which is the best part and it barely had any wear and tear. A few pages highlighted which I didnâ€™t mind and it helped in my class. I donâ€™t know much about the subject since this is my first time learning about law and ethics, but overall the quality of the book and the way it was shipped and arrived great! 4 stars because even though Iâ€™m a prime member this one took about a week to arrive ( this was noted when I ordered it).

Horrible/outdated text and the questions are vague/ambiguous.

This book was not in good condition at all which is what the tag on it says. All the homework assignments are already answered! (Which is not a good thing especially if highlighter is all over the book with wrong answers)

Exactly what I needed! $100 cheaper from the book store if not more. Was the exact book I was looking for and the rental process was also very easy.
